How to view ChatGPT's HTML on iPhone

Turn the code block ChatGPT gives you into the actual rendered page — on your phone, offline.

Short answer: tap “Copy” on ChatGPT's HTML code block, open AI Artifact Reader, and choose Paste HTML / Markdown. The page renders instantly and fully offline — no saving files, no servers, no internet. Export it as a long image or PDF if you want to share the result.

The problem

Ask ChatGPT for a landing page, a report, a pricing table, a chart or a mini-app, and it answers with HTML in a code block (or a canvas document). On a computer you'd save it and double-click. On an iPhone there's no double-click — tapping an .html file in the Files app often shows raw code or a half-broken preview, and pasting code into Notes obviously doesn't render anything.

The 10-second workflow

  1. In ChatGPT, tap Copy on the code block (or select-all and copy the canvas content).
  2. Open AI Artifact ReaderPaste HTML / Markdown.
  3. Done — the real page renders, with CSS, JavaScript, charts and animations running locally.

If ChatGPT gave you a downloadable file instead, open it via Open Local File or share it from Files to AI Artifact Reader.

Why render it offline?

Share the result, not the code

Most chats and social apps can't display an HTML file. Export the rendered page as one full-length image (crisp at high resolution) or a PDF — perfect for WhatsApp, WeChat, Slack, or 小红书.
